DESCRIPTION

Students participating in an internship at the River Valley Regional YMCA will gain meaningful, hands-on experience in a community-based, mission-driven organization. Interns will work closely with YMCA staff in areas such as youth development, childcare, fitness and wellness, aquatics, facilities management, marketing, or administrative support, depending on interest and availability. Students can expect to take on age-appropriate responsibilities, develop professional and leadership skills, and learn about daily operations, workplace expectations, and required training or certifications. The internship provides valuable exposure to career pathways in nonprofit management, health and wellness, education, and community services while allowing students to make a positive impact in their community. Clearances required.
