DESCRIPTION

Students participating in a work experience at the River Valley Regional YMCA will engage in structured, hands-on activities while working under the supervision of YMCA staff. Students may assist in areas such as youth programs, childcare, fitness and wellness activities, aquatics support, facilities operations, or front desk and administrative functions. This experience allows students to practice professional skills including communication, teamwork, time management, and customer service in a real workplace setting. Students will also learn about workplace expectations, safety procedures, and career pathways within a nonprofit, community-focused organization while gaining valuable experience that can support future employment or career exploration. Clearances required.
