Requirements for Career Opportunities at your School: Students at Canton must complete a career plan in 8th grade and a career portfolio in 11th grade through their Smart Futures account. In Smart Futures students create a resume, interest inventory, and explore other career pathways. Each student is required to complete 60 hours of community service. Juniors and Seniors have 3 college visits days and 3 job shadows days a year. They must complete a reflection in their Smart Futures. These project serves to broaden students' horizons with regard to college and career opportunities in and around our community.
